बीते दिनों रेलवे मंत्री श्री  दिनेश त्रिवेदी ने रेलवे किराया बढाया उसके कारन उन्हें अपनीही पार्टी की आलोचना झेलनी पड़ी. यह सत्य है की बदती महंगाई मे जनता par  बढे हूए किराये का ज्यादा बोझा डालना  उचित नहीं होंगा परन्तु रेलवे की वित्तीय स्थिती  के बारे मे   भी  सोचना जरुरी ही जिसके बारे मे  मंत्रीजी  ने गहरी चिंता बाजात मे  व्यक्त कि. रेल्वे को आधुनुकीकरण, नयी  सुविधा और अपनी आय बधाने  के लिये  संसाधन  जुटाना  भी जरुरी ही जिंका एक उपाय किराया मे  वृद्धी हो सकता है परंतु इसमे एक बीचका  रस्ता अपनाना उचि त होगा ज़िससे  रेल्वे कि आमदनी  भी बढे और गरीब जनता पर ज्यादा बोझा भी  पडे /

इसके लिये या हो सकता है  कि रेल्वे किराया कूच  किलोमीटर  अंतर को   छोड़कर बढ़ाया जाता ! अधिकांश या dekhane को मिलता   है की छोटे मोटे सामान बेचने वाले लोग रेलवे मे  कम दुरी का लगभग १०० किलोमीटर का सफ़र करते है/ अगर रेलवे किराया वृद्धि प्रति किलोमीटर न करके प्रथम १०० किलोमीटर से आगे पर  लागु करे तो इससे गरीब लोगो पे किराया वृद्धि का भार नहीं पड़ेंगा और रेलवे की आमदनी भी बढ़ेगी    

tact of UPSC on Current affairs- a Strategy

I whish to put some basic tact that UPSC might follow in Prelim on current affairs.
Current affairs is the most floating section that UPSC ask in the prelims examination. The main
questiion is how to grab the essence of current affairs.
As in my earlier section stated that you should develp 360 degree knowledge about the fact.
In continuation to this with respect to current affairs i would like to suggest some essence of UPSC.
in the last month u came across the news :
India launched GSAT-8 and it was set in the geoSynchronous orbit
India declared MSF for agriculture products
Impeachment of justice Soumitra Sen
Debate in Parliament on Lokpal

Now what you have to concentrate is someting extra and different
Only launing GSTAT is not enough but you must have full knowledge of gyosynchonous orbit , what is it , why communication satelites are always established in this orbit, that is the main issue of this currnt affair heading that you have to prepare.
Similarly, declaring the minimum support prices by the goverment is not enough, but you have to find out the real
matter behing the curtain. It is who reccommend it, that is CACP, what is it, what is its base, its procedure etc.
Similarly during debat in parliament on Lokpal, there was a hidden issue - that was regulation 184, you must find out what is it.

I think you might have get the basic idea what UPSC try to suck from the students. So be prepare for this and adopt the strategy accordingly.

Three Idiots - Essence of UPSC (IAS)

I want to convey one interesting and importance message.
I watched the movie "Three idiots" and found that it shows the true path to the UPSC Aspirant.
Amir Khan says that we should not study for scoring the marks only or mere gathering the information, main purpose of the study should be enhancing our knowledge, thats why he says that we can say to the tiger "well trained" when he jumps on the chair choping with the hunter by the ring master, but we cannot say him "well educated"
This is the essence of UPSC, what it seeks from the examinee.
UPSC doesn't give marks for mere dipictng the facts or puting the statistics in the answers. It expects someting extra from the student when it says in the questiion "discuss". or "comment" . There is much diference between the 'Information' and 'Knowledge' .
Most of the questions are of analytical in nature .If it gives one statment, you have to give your justification in support of it or against it. For this you must be knowledgeable, you must develop 360 degree knowledge of the fact to justyfy your answer. If you are knowledgeable, you can give answer of the question an any angle.
So while reading, one must think the all aspect of the fact, it applicablity, its pros and cons, statistics less matters. you should have depth of knowledge. We should read not only for gathering information but also for enhancing our knowledge. thats why, Mr. Shah Faesal, the IAS topper in 2009 has rightly said that he had read not for UPSC but for himself. He wanted to enhance his knowledge . And what a great man he is !
IT is applicable for every type of questions that UPSC ask in the examination.
Even in the question of Science and Technology, it does't expect much in technicality, but how it works, its applicability and its benifit and future prospects in overall.
What Amir khan says it absulutely true, if you gain knowledge, success will follow you, otherwise you will follow the success. He himself has shown in the end of the movie, when he is called for the contract by a man who secure a high profile job with his socring marks but ultimately comes to Amir Khan to sign contact for the new project as he is able to do it due to his inventive knowledge and he is regarded as scientist. 
So I wish that every new aspirant should watch this movie and decide his path of strategy of preperation. If you gain knowledge, it will be very easy to crack UPSC against what it is said the toughest examination.

I have just recently read the success story of Shri Keshvendra on his blog IAS in Hindi Medium. Really it is very inspiring for the new aspirant of Civil service like me. I am also preparing for Civil service in Hindi medium, being a job holder. My optionals are History and Public Administration. The whole story of Keshvendra is a new direction to the new aspirant . I am very inspired. A man in the dearth of basic facilities can become an IAS. I have just started the preperation, i dont know what will be the result, but the only thing i know that i have to struggle, put my efforts,  and the result i leave it to the GOD.
